All areas of Cornwall are within easy reach of Wild Thyme Barn making it the perfect base to explore this beautiful county.

Wild Thyme Barn is close to The Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and Lanhydrock, with Trebah, Glendurgan, Caerhays, St Michaels Mount, Trellisick all an easy drive away.

Enjoy days out in Charlestown, Falmouth, St Mawes, Padstow, St Ives, Port Isaac, Looe, Polperro and Newquay: all with pretty beaches, cafes and shops to explore. 

The property is close to the Saints Way footpath and the coastal footpath, providing walks to suit all. Golant is an easy walk with the Fishermen's Arms providing a welcome pint or head for the beach at Polkerris and enjoy a meal at Sam's or the Rashleigh Arms. 

Fowey is just a couple of minutes drive away, with plenty of parking or an easy 20-30 minute walk.

With its harbour, restaurants, cafes, shops and art galleries Fowey has plenty to enjoy with stunning panoramic views out to sea and across the river to Polruan. 

The town beach of Ready Money Cove is an easy walk or you could take a boat ride to Polruan.

Fowey has a number of outlets to rent canoes, paddleboards etc.

Enjoy the bustling atmosphere at one of the many cafes, pubs or restaurants.  Fitzroys provides coastal flavours throughout the Summer, while Appleton's Michelin menu provides the perfect place for a special dining experience.   Haveners is the perfect place to sit with a local pint or G&T, with an varied menu to suit all tastes.

Foodies can indulge throughout Cornwall with Rick Steins, Nathan Outlaw and Paul Ainsworth showcasing Cornwall's produce or take a wine tasting experience at local Knightors Vineyard, St Austell Brewery or Gin making class at Tarquin's.  Pop ups provide interesting additional food throughout the year.
