Crack the clues along the South West Coast Path and you’re guaranteed a fun day out, plus you’ll take in some of Cornwall’s most spectacular sights along the way. The new series of Treasure Trails includes:
This four-mile circular walk starts and finishes in the picturesque Lizard village. It explores three sides of Lizard Point – the most southerly point on mainland Great Britain – passing old and new Lizard lifeboat stations and Lizard lighthouse.
Perranporth to St Agnes
This 3.5 mile trail follows the South West Coast Path from Perranporth to Trevaunance Cove, just north of St Agnes. The route, along the exposed north Cornish coast, passes an old airfield, important during the Second World War, and a number of old mine buildings.
Trevose Head Ring
This 5.5 mile trail begins at Harlyn Bay and follows the South West Coast Path along to Mother Ivey’s Bay lifeboat station, Trevose lighthouse and around the headland with some dramatic views past Booby’s Bay to Constantine Bay and finally Treyarnon. One of our longest walks along easy terrain so great for taking the dog with you.
Polruan & Fowey
The newest South West Coast Path trail of three miles begins around the steep hills of Polruan. Take the passenger ferry across the water to Fowey.
